How does the followyoursun approach work?

We are repeatedly asked by clients and partners which approaches we use in our psychological work to resolve trauma and to unfold the inner sun child with its unlimited potential. The integration of trauma-specific knowledge into the personal development and support of people has been studied by followyoursun for more than two decades and described in detail in our mindful book series as well as in “From Shadow Child to Sun Child” & “From the Greatest Shadow Emerges the Greatest Light” (https://www.amazon.de/stores/Sandra-Anna-Zaunfuchs/author/B07L2ZSF7K?ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1&qid=1740644793&sr=8-1&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true).

With our approach, we have already helped thousands of people to lead healthier, more mindful and holistically successful lives, including the healing of diseases that are considered incurable. That's why we want to share our knowledge with as many people as possible worldwide. We also love to share mindful approaches & projects for the unfolding of the sun child and special places worldwide, which will also run even more through our own publishing house in the future.

Our trauma healing approach is an integrative one, which we already described 10 years ago as a strengths approach or “free psychology”. It contains elements from all the approaches listed below. These are selected individually for each client and a treatment plan is drawn up with the counterpart. This is the best way to achieve goals in a precise, effective and efficient manner:

  • Mindfulness-centered trauma treatment and relaxation therapies to regulate the nervous system and heal the consequences of stress in particular (e.g. Dialectical Behavior Therapy DBT; Psychotraumatological Treatment PITT - Luise Reddemann)

  • Hypnotherapy with a focus on working through unconscious conflicts from childhood (e.g. catathymic imaginative picture life KIP - Hanskarl Leuner)

  • Trauma-focused behavioral therapy for psychoeducation about PTSD/CPTSD and learning new behaviors (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy CPT, Schema Therapy - Jeffrey Young etc.)

  • Somatic therapy, especially for the resolution of trauma triggers, e.g. Somatic Experiencing SE (Peter A. Levine)

  • EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing for processing trauma triggers (Francine Shapiro)

  • Brainspotting for the neurological/cognitive processing of trauma - David Grand

  • Family and inner child therapies based on systemic concepts (e.g. trauma-sensitive constellation work, Internal Family Systems Therapy IFS)

  • Painting and art therapies, dance therapies and much more.

  • Narcissistic Abuse Therapy for the treatment of the effects of narcissistic abuse

  • Trauma-sensitive yoga TSY (David Emerson) & other, also self-developed trauma-sensitive body techniques

  • In addition, there are many promising approaches from “Energetic Psychology” into mainstream psychology and medicine (as there are already millennia-old findings on the effectiveness of holistic methods, see yoga psychology, Ayurveda medicine, TCM, TTM and many more).
